Gaining

So apparently...

112lbs in 4 years is a pretty epic gain by my books. I also like double chins! But seriously, anything averaging over 14lbs a year I would consider significant... but the bigger a person is the more a drop in the ocean a figure like a stone (14lbs for anyone confused) is. I would have thought regardless of size 112lbs would be physically noticeable.

that mostly depends on how gradual the gain is. As Shazzy's happened over 4 years her body had ample time to adjust to the increase in weight. Were it to happen in a single year then she would definitely have noticed though.

Hey, Shaz. I think this is a question of ratios. On someone my daughter's size, 8 st in 4 years would be shocking--72% of her weight. On me, it would be VERY noticeable--45% of my weight. (And potentially great fun, but that's another matter.) On you, it's a lot less so, because it's a much smaller percentage.

But I just think if you're active, none of the rest of it matters. And you look fabulously gorgeous. So, what the hell? Blow him off. Tell him your health is your risk to take.
